Our Mission
The European Association for Public Administration Accreditation (EAPAA)
- promotes the quality of European academic level public administration programmes by developing appropriate accreditation standards for such programmes through its Accreditation Committee,
- encourages curriculum development and innovation,
- provides a forum for discussion on quality and accreditation, and
- assures the quality of European Public Administration programmes by evaluating programmes.
Organisation
EAPAA consiss of three bodies:
- The board determines the strategic vision of EAPAA and supervises the activities of the secretariat
- The accreditation committee, which is fully independent from the other two bodies
- The secretariat organises the day-to-day activities, in particular the site visits.
The Accreditation Committee
The Accreditation Committee makes the final decision on the certification and accreditation of programmes. It also decides on the accreditation criteria and procedures, as well as its own membership. The Committee is completely independent and not subordinate to the EAPAA Board.
